The overview of the 2027 entrance exam is as follows.

1. Schedule

  • Application Period： February 22, 2027 to March 5, 2027
  • Announcement of First Screening Results： April 23, 2027
  • Announcement of Interview Details： May 7, 2027
  • Zoom Connection Test： May 12 or May 13, 2027
  • Online Interview Date： May 15, 2027
  • Announcement of Successful Applicants： May 25, 2027
  • Enrollment Procedure Period： May 25, 2027 to June 15, 2027
  • Enrollment： September 16, 2027

2. Enrollment Capacity and Application Categories

20 students will be accepted for the Sustainability Co-creation Programme in the Department of Sustainability Studies, Faculty of Sustainability Studies.

Applicants must select own application category at the time of application. The application categories and their respective capacities are as follows:

Application Category Capacity Notes
・Visa-based 10 students For applicants who intend to study at the university under the “College Student” (留学) visa status (including those who expect to obtain it by the time of enrollment)
・General 10 students For applicants who hold Japanese nationality, permanent resident status in Japan (including Special Permanent Resident status), or any status of residence other than “Student” under which they are expected to study at the University.

3. Screening method and Fee

An overall assessment will be made based on document screening and online interview.

Screening Fee: 35,000 JPY

Method of payment: Pay the fee using a credit card through online application.

・The screening fee is non-refundable.

・Please note that the credit card company charges an additional transaction fee of 1,100 JPY that is required upon payment.
